The Chef Tommaso Zoboli has recently opened his own restaurant. Zoboli has been the protagonist of “La Prima Volta” (“The First Time”), the docuseries made by Lavazza. The young businessman has already had different experiences: from Pascucci to the Porticciolo of Fiumicino (RM) to the Osteria Francescana, he has also won the award as the Best Chef Under 30.
«Patrizia was my mother’s name, who passed away. That is why the inscription is for her: it was her who told me ‘follow your heart and do whatever you want’. I wanted to bring her with me inside this place…» The Chef said during an interview by Mariarosaria Bruno. Patrizia is situated in Modena, in the heart of the city.

A RESTAURANT THAT CHANGES SHAPE EVERY 4 MONTHS…
«The restaurant has been created to be a place with its own ideas: every four months we try to create a show, but with no exaggeration. So, we try to apply this idea to the restaurant accessories, from the lights to the employees’ uniforms in the dining room, to the mise en place: every time will seem to go in a new world. Also the menu will change every time, depending on the topic or the idea, and it is a 75 pages magazine, illustrated and drawn manually by Illario Luigi Filippo. Additionally, it includes a selected playlist by Dargen D’Amico on Spotify. All this will be about every 4 months»
That is how this project has been created, via Torre 29/37. Already in the past this place boasted the presence of different historical restaurants. The restoration made the antiquity of the place emerge, moving to modern furniture, without losing its own roots.
The great central counter is the element which characterises the restaurant, as the staff’s empathy, able to tear down the existing distance between kitchen and customers.
THE MENU
The first menu has been focused on the local tradition, that is revisited without changing the content. It is not a coincidence that it takes the name of “Tradiuzione”, a combination between tradizione and traduzione (between tradition and translation).
The experience is split in different routes, where each one offers a number of courses. The price changes based on the chosen method.
